Launched in 1990, the Games will enter its 22nd year. Last year, they attracted over 9,300 participants from 251 organisations, signifying that the Games were greatly supported by the industrial, commercial and public sectors in the territory.

The Corporate Games 2012 is being held from March to November this year, with a total of 13 sports events including athletics, badminton, basketball, distance run, indoor rowing, snooker, swimming, table tennis, tennis, tenpin bowling, volleyball, 7-a-side mini-soccer and 11-a-side soccer. To recognize the remarkable performance of the winning teams, an overall championship trophy will be awarded to the organisation with highest overall ranking for each group.
