Welcome to visit Bornean orangutan twins at HKZBG
Starting from February 10, members of the public are welcomed to visit a pair of Bornean orangutan twins through a viewing window of the activity room at the Education and Exhibition Centre of Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. The visit sessions run from 10 to 11 am and 2 to 3 pm daily. Visitors should remain silent during the tour and refrain from tapping on the window of the room or using flashlights. They should also follow the instructions of staff at the scene.

2012 Bun Carnival
Members of the public are welcome to partake in the 2012 Bun Carnival to be staged at the soccer pitch of Pak Tai Temple Playground, Cheung Chau, from April 8 to 29. The Bun Scrambling Competition, the finale of the event, will be held on the night of April 28. Applications for participation in the Competition are accepted between February 2 and March 2. The Climbing Carnival will be held on April 22 with a wide range of activities catering for all ages, including exhibition booths and game stalls, handicraft making, variety shows and climbing play-in, etc.

Fantastic Creatures from the British Museum Exhibition
One hundred and seventy artefacts selected from the British Museum are on display at the Hong Kong Museum of Art until April 11. Spanning from ancient times to the present day and across different cultures and civilisations, the exhibits help visitors explore how animals or mythical creatures address many fascinating questions and ideas, such as what lies beyond the horizon, how humans make sense of the world and explain its mysteries and dangers.

Public artwork proposals invited for town park and sports centre in Tseung Kwan O
To promote art and engage the public in artistic creations, LCSD has invited local and overseas artists to submit artwork proposals for the "Public Art Scheme of the Town Park, Indoor Velodrome-cum-Sports Centre in Area 45, Tseung Kwan O". Artists with sound experience and competence in public artwork creation, production and installation are welcome to submit proposals. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2012. City Hall birthday concerts featuring Yo-Yo Ma to be held in March
Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, two concerts featuring the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma will be staged in March in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hong Kong City Hall. The first concert, "Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Yo-Yo Ma", will be staged on March 2, while the second concert, "The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma", will be presented on March 3.

New cycling facilities in Po Kong Village Road Park thrill cycling enthusiasts
The Po Kong Village Road Park (Phase II) features advanced cycling facilities including the most challenging BMX area in Hong Kong, the territory's first elevated one-kilometre-long cycling track and a cycling area for beginners. Users have to pass an assessment test before they can use the designated bowls in the BMX area.
