* Kowloon Park Swimming Pool will be temporarily closed from 19 November to 20 December 2009 for preparation and holding the swimming and diving events of the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games.
Temporary Closure for Annual Maintenance Indoor Pools: From 1 April to 31 May
Outdoor Pools : From 1 November
to 31 March of the following year
Weekly Cleansing Day
(Note 2)		 Every Tuesday
(If the weekly cleansing day falls on a public holiday, the swimming pool will open as usual. The weekly cleansing operation will be rescheduled for Thursday of the same week)
(As Kowloon Park Swimming Pool has undergone thorough cleansing and disinfection before its reopening for public use on 21 December 2009, the first scheduled weekly cleansing day on 22 December 2009 (Tuesday) will be cancelled. The swimming pool will provide normal services on that day.)

Note 1 : The above opening hours/periods of LCSD swimming pool are subject to change and advance notice will be given as far as practicable. For enquiry on the latest opening/closure arrangement of swimming pools, please call the Public Swimming Pools for details. Note 2 : The weekly cleansing operation is carried out at public swimming pools managed by the LCSD from 10:00 a.m. to the end of the second session. The pools will resume service at the third session on the same day. If the cleansing day falls on a public holiday, the swimming pool will open as usual and the weekly cleansing operation will be rescheduled for another weekday (as shown in the bracket) of the same week.
