"Fa-la-la Learnee Prizee Scheme" Award Ceremony

Relaunched in October 2007, the Fa-la-la Learnee Prizee Scheme was met with an overwhelming response from our MuseKids, who visited the museum and put to the test their knowledge of ten thematic exhibitions held during the past year by answering our monthly posers as well as specially designed questions at our three branch museums. MuseKids who got the answers right won Fa-la-la stickers.

This has been a year of fruitful self-learning for all MuseKids who have taken part in the scheme: not only has it opened their eyes to the cultural treasure trove offered by the museum, it has also helped them explore the fun world of self-learning. At this award ceremony, MuseKids who have won grand prizes on stage will describe their proud moments and invaluable experience to their families and friends.

All-round Learning MuseKids Backpacks: The Children's Paradise

The "All-round Learning MuseKids Backpacks", organised into themes that tie in with our permanent and thematic exhibitions and crammed full of educational content and activities, special tools and useful information, are the ultimate educational kits especially designed by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum to stimulate our MuseKids's interest in exploring the many wonderful treasures of the museum during their visits.

The latest addition to the MuseKids backpack collection is "The Children's Paradise", which has been designed to tie in with the "The Children's Paradise: The Art of Lo Koon Chiu" thematic exhibition. Crammed full of information and fun gadgets, it introduces young visitors to the characters of The Children's Paradise created by the famous artist, including the beloved Xiao Yuan Yuan and the Monkey King. The backpack also doubles as a painting kit for our aspiring young comic illustrators.
